woochieguy
Has anyone made a Franchise.sav file yet with the 2008 playoff brackets? I'd love to play it out
MrDudleyDoWright
Someone should make one, but with the Mets as the Wild Card :(
catzrthecoolest
Use Tywiggins's Playoff Creator. This sounds like what you are looking for

Gordo
I did an end of the year roster update using KG's rosters in the 08 mod (not the 6.2). I took the guys listed on the 60-day list as well as those known to be out for surgery, etc. Basically, if the guy wasn't listed on the depth chart at mlb.com, he was dumped to the FA pool. Found it's not possible to simply put a guy on a minor league club as the cpu eventually brings them up. Same might happen in a playoff set-up. My problem was I had too many FA in the pool so I ended up importing the original FA pool from the 08 mod. I was also getting a weird error message with the AL Future Stars roster saying I didn't have 25 players, when I clearly did. I imported those along with the NL F.S.'s as well. I tried a 50-game schedule and was getting very late inning crashes to desktop. I'm going to yet rule out that it was the schedule and not the rosters. Once I do that, I'm going to set up a playoff tree. UPDATE: I discovered that it was most likely the rosters. I guess when I imported the future stars and the old FA pool, I ended up losing a good number of F.S.'s that were on particular MLB teams (Longoria, LaRoche, etc.) and had to re-import them. I'm almost done with that along with aligning the proper batting and pitching order for the 8 playoff teams according to baseball-reference.com I should be done tonight with it.
