I know you use Photoshop for all your presentations but how do you do it? I can only make simple items and never have as much detail as you ever can make

Honestly SS, there's no trick to it. I think having an 'eye' for it is the biggest factor. Like you said, I use Photoshop and have just experimented with each little thing until I get something that looks good.

ALOT of trial and error, but of course, the more you do it, the easier (and quicker) it becomes.

That's just some fn ridiculous photoshop items, man. You never cease to amaze me and I will never learn how you do this. Lovin' these playoffs.

RAYS, as much as I've learned over the last couple of years, I can tell you for sure that I am still nowhere where I'm going to be when it's all said and done.

When I'm in Photoshop, I have to 'remember' to eat, or I may starve. :)

Ok then just tell me this - how do you add glows since I just now figured out how to get crisp extractions from FRAPs screenshots haha - I've taken a few Photoshop classes but over time it left me head

Highlight the layer your're working on, then go to the bottom of the layer box and click on the first icon (add a layer style)

Then go to outer glow. I suggest trying EVERY OPTION until you come up with something that looks good. Each layer (item) takes a glow a little differently.

So far, both teams that advanced were the exact opposites from real life. On paper, Philadelphia is definitely the better team, but the way it's been going, anything can happen.

JR, did you know that the two background pictures on the Brewers-Phillies presentation are actually the RedSox Vs Angels? Sorry to sound picky but i'm so bored at college i got nothing better to do :)

Sure did. It's the same template, I just changed the players, logos, and a few colors around. I knew it when I did it, I just didn't think it mattered since it was overlayed and in the background.

This is a beautiful "Dynasty". I'm enjoying it Joe. You sir, are the king of Dynasties.

Thanks, DJ, I appreciate it man. I'm antsy though, I'm going to practice up a bit and play these game 5's manually. I've decided to play as Milwaukee, and I agreed with rick to play as Boston.

I've got a busy day, but I'm going to try play and then update later this evening. I'm doing my best to stay "on schedule".

I went ahead and changed the background to Citizen's Bank Park. It was late, and I was being lazy.

Shame on me. :D

Good luck in the game

Thanks. The only reason I'm playing as Milwaukee is because in real life I truly wanted them to win. I may be a bit rusty, be at least "playing" the game will actually mean I'll try to win it.

I'll play as Boston against Anaheim tonight. I'm not a big fan of either team, but in reality I'd rather see Anaheim go home, they've been a thorn in Oakland's (my team) side for too long now.

Yea but in recent times Oakland has lost big players and other have simply not performed. When i first got MVP i loved Oakland on it. I always played as them

I'm an A's fan, first and foremost. Always have been, always will be. When a team has had as much talent (Mulder, Zito, Hudson, Harden, Giambi, Tejada, Byrnes Swisher, and so on) as they've had over the years, and then by signing Chavez to a 6 or 7 year deal to pacify fans and hopefully keep them in the seats, it gets pretty obvious they're just trying to scrape enough cash together to break even, instead of actually trying to WIN anything.

The early 2000's looked a little promising, but instead of forking out the dough to maintain the big names, they're interest lies in going the cheap route and hopefully hanging onto some fans.

It's pretty obvious they're getting what they didn't pay for.

With that said, I understand the issue of Free Agency and player negotiations or for whatever the reasons are that players leave, but Oakland has pretty much done NOTHING to suggest they have a burning desire to compete for that division.

Even so, I dislike the Angels more than I do Boston, and I'll still be a fan of Oakland's until the day I die.

Yea when i first got in to baseball i felt like Oakland was one of the best teams in the league, with the pitching staff they had and although i am a die hard RedSox fan, i feel bad for Oakland fans because it looks like Oakland try to act like a small market team and create talent through the farm system but are just failing.
