rolie
i updated an optimized version. I don't get those crashes so I'm kinda guessing it's crowd related. Let me know if it resolves anything or not. http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=4580.html

Zach
That is actually the crowd I made xiberger. I took pictures of my friends and relatives and used them to make a crowd. This release may actually give me some inspiration to help a little more with getting all the things I did implemented into the game. I am not sure how much time I will have. But mainly I would really like to finish up Ashburn Alley since I spent so much time on it. I was just about done when I had to put the project on hold. There are only about 3 more stores/restaurants that need to be finished.
rolie
Yes All the new textures are Zach's. I hope you do finish this off. This is your baby. Unfortunately I couldn't get some of modeling you did because of time. This version is really nothing compared to what Zach had going. I guess this is a "stopgap" version hahhaha. philliesphan18
Well, in that case, I'm looking forward to the finished product!
Pirate
So how do you move those damn 3D flags?
Sean O
So how do you move those **** 3D flags? flags.csv. There's an X,Y,Z coordinate in there. Imagine my joy at having to spot the flag correctly on the pole for Yankee.
Zach
So, the basic idea is to take what I did for CBP and put it into a working ingame version with rolie's new stuff. Not many people have seen this stuff before, so here is some of what I did during the summer. Ashburn Alley And here is a full picture that was taken before I did work on the Ashburn Alley storefronts. But it shows the scoreboard and the ads I did. rolie
I only really made a couple parts Including the homeplate ad/holder and wall. So if you do get this finished I I know how to add them already without problems.
HardcoreLegend
Likewise, if you don't feel like doing it, I can do the baseline (with rotating ad) fairly quickly for you as well. You teased me for 6 months with this thing Zach, you darn well better finish it!
Zach
It just all depends how much time I have. The one thing I really want to do is just finish up the remaining stores in Ashburn Alley, that way I can feel like I fully accomplished that. Then the stadium will only need a few more minor things to be complete. I haven't had much free time lately so I can't really give any promises. But I will do my best. rolie
Just some minor updates that were nagging me. v1.2 Oct 10, 2008 Fixed missing bullpen mounds Deleted grass texture on warning track Lowered base of brick wall behind homeplate Fixed/animated crowd texture http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=4580.html
HardcoreLegend
rolie, did you add those wall ads I sent you?
rolie
rolie, did you add those wall ads I sent you? um no I haven't used those yet. I'd have to tear down the whole wall and built them into into it instead of overlaying them. That's just the way I would do it. Not part of my quick fix bailout plan. lol
HardcoreLegend
Wait, what? HAHA. You could just copy the current wall ads in ZMod, move them, and then attach the new duplicate (and moved) ads to the original non-moved ads as part of the same part. Then all you have to do is to move the vertices on the BMP. In the grand scheme of things, you probably won't to create all new wall ads for the entire park but for a quick fix, it is a 2 minute job. We must allow the park to fail on it's own. Throwing a bailout at it won't solve anything.

Two minute job? I dunno about that. If you mod it in there I'll upload it. Might as well have 4 people work on it. This is the sluttiest park ever! lol
