Stole a teacher's corvette in high school

Never did like that *****

I just hide the thing really, it was not recovered for 6 weeks

He knew who did it but could not prove it, he brought the Police in to the class room to interview everyone. The cops questioned me for 3 hours.

Kept on claiming we know it was you, your friend gave you up, just tell us where it is and we will let you go.

Moral of the story if you do something illegal tell no one about it. That is what I did so I knew the Police were lying to me

..You're right!! It's better for us to say nothing about (for example) illegal things we do.. at least for some time! :D

Anyways.. You said they questioned you for 3 hours saying like: Your friend gave you up!! And you were sure no1 knew that you were on it.. LOL

That was soo nice!

Considering this quote;

Why does this thread exist? ;)

Also, my answer, never been caught. If you want to steal and are stupid enough to get caught, you probably deserve whatever action is taken against you.

 Same here, good luck finding my history, Mr. Officer. ;)

Maybe we should set up a "Crime" forum where we can all share hints and tips. Then again, it would just get filled very quickly with people lying about their huge history of stealing 50¢ toys from their local Mom-and-Pop store.

Nike Ones? Best in the game imo. Pro vi behind nike ones of course.

Pro V1 > Nike One

I normally take w/e is the cheapest though. I usually stock up on Callaway balls that they sell up at a really cheap place in Maine at our cottage.

Doesn't make that big of a difference to me, tbh.

Actually, just on further thought, I have been caught stealing - if I remember correctly, it was only 3 times, but they were all annoying as hell.

The first time the opportunity arose, I was slightly apprehensive as it was something I had never done before, and wasn't something that came naturally, but at the time, it was a great opportunity, the stars were aligned, and I decided to go for it. Well, turned out that the opportunity wasn't as great as I thought, I had underestimated one of the main components in the mechanism, so to speak, and ended up being caught. Not good.

Second time, having had the experience the first time, I attempted to learn from it and made a better decision. Well, I did, and I had done all I could from my end. I thought I had gotten away with it and finished the job successfully, but I ended up being screwed and was caught. I argued my innocence as much as possible, but "The Man" was having none of it. Caught again. That one didn't work out too badly, though.

Third time, I attempted it with a good friend. Once we had planned it, he wasn't actually close to me, distance-wise, but it's amazing what a good set of gestures can do in a very busy and crowded environment, as long as you have line of sight. Anyway, he ended up making it, but I was caught. Not unexpected, really, but I thought, if anyone would be caught while we were doing it, it would be him. What he was doing was much more risky than mine, but, hey, that's how the dice roll, I guess.

Anyway, I've been successful a lot more than I've been caught, so I can't complain too much. Worked out well for a short period of time.

Now, you may be wondering what my punishments were. Well, they varied. The first time, I just got a few nasty looks and a bit of an ear-bashing, but no real damage - one person actually complimented me on my opportunism. Second time, nothing at all. It was later overturned and I got away scot-free. Third time, some others were as surprised as me that I was the one that was caught. No real argument, as I was caught red handed, but the move itself was solid, so just a slap on the wrists.

By the way, maybe I forgot to mention this earlier in the post - I'm a pitcher by nature, but was a relatively fast runner when I played, before my knees became shot, so I've lost a few steps now. What were we stealing?

First time, being a pitcher, I just decided to go for it, underestimated the catchers arm, and was thrown out at second.

Second time, was called out at second base, but I was actually safe, as seen by video cameras, multiple spectators and team members on both sides. The decision was overturned by the league and we won the game by a landslide.

Third time, double steal with men on first and second, catcher threw me out rather than my speedster team-mate who advanced to third.

Hey, you didn't define what we were stealing. :D

I've stolen too many bases in real life and in MVP Baseball to count. I was always the speedster on my teams...not ridiculously speedy like a Carl Crawford, but rather a 2nd tier speedster, like 20-30 steals in a 162 game season.
