Okay this might sound like a dumb question, but im pretty new to this game so give me a break. I have a Logitech Wingman Cordless and i hear thats one of the best for this perticular game.

But my problem is i looked everywhere and i see nowhere to turn Pure Swing on.. Im at the plate and move all the analog sticks and still nothing.

If anyone has had this same problem or can help me it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

HA!!! ....Logitech isn't the way to go man, trust me..We'll see if you'll be able to say the same in 2 weeks...The analogs on it will wear out shortly, rendering the controller useless...

By the way, you don't actually turn "pure swing" on...It's already "enabled" into the game, and you just use your analogs to use it.

Okay no offence.. But that was the most pointless reply i have ever seen.

For one, I don't know what your talking about because my controller works just fine for mvp 04'... Aside from the obvious Pure swing problems.

And two, If u READ what i wrote, I noted that I already tried the analogs and they wont respond.

Neways... If anyone has an educated and mature responce could you please respond?

so what exactly happens when you use the analogs, does the ball always fly towards the same direction, or what?

Or maybe you just have your analogs turned "off" and the D-pad turned on instead..

Well i know my analogs are working fine because i can run the bases with them.

And to answer your question, When i move the analog the bat does nothing at all. I find that really strange it would work for baserunning but not Pure Swing... :?

EDIT: Both my D-Pad and Analogs are turned on, I usually steal with the D-Pad and increase my lead with the right Analog.

dude are you retarded...pure swing is built in...move analog up and swing hit fly ball...move down hit grounder...move up and right...hits fly to right...up and left...hits fly to left...same thing with down and grounders...pure swing is EA's attempt at making it so that timing plays a key role in your hits...theres no turning it on theres no turning it off...and second you will be having problems with your logitech controller...with calibration...i think you are the one who is inmature and uneducated...dont come in here and diss people...who do you think you are!!!!!!

The bat isn't supposed to swing when moving teh analogs, if that's what you're implying...You simply point it to the direction you want to hit the ball, and press the swing button as usual..
