That is very legal - the guy was not out of bounds (his feet were still in the air) and that was a backwards lateral and thus - a TD, now would the touchdown throw go to the QB or the TE haha - too bad they don't have an assists column in football ;)

Actually, that was not a lateral. It was a reception by the guy who got the TD. The guy who "passed" it back to him was simply a "deflection".

The TE had possession of the ball in his hands if you freeze at 0:25, it's a little blurry but in HD you can see the ball in his hands, but he threw it back into play to the WR - so it was a deflection/lateral, but still a sweet-a s s play

But did he get a foot in bounds to qualify it as a catch?

No he caught the pass but just flicked it back out to the WR, the TE had possession, but he never was going to be in bounds, but a mid-air catch can still be called a catch, just not using the "correct terminology"

Right, and I'm talking about the correct terminology, that's what I have been talking about. He did catch it, but it will not go down in the stat book as a catch and lateral.

Hey Chris, dont you know that Glasner feeding me the rebound?? lol 13 to 22 for 6 baby!!!

The pass was never completed to 13, because 13 never had control of it. The deflection was caught by 22 (which is a great number I might add) for the TD. So to make a long story short, the QB gets credit for the TD pass to number 22, via 13.
