Yankee4Life
Awful news for me to read about tonight. He was one of my favorite old time Dodgers. His best year was in 1951 when he went 22-3 for Brooklyn. And as Jim stated, he'll live on in Total Classics. R.I.P. Mr Roe and my condolences to your family. Homer
dang. i just added him to my roster too. i never got to see him pitch, but i fondly remember the first time i heard his name and thought it was a joke. i called him preacher JOE for the longest time too, but only because i was in denial that his name belonged to a baseball player.
