Audio Modders

i've got a question pertaining to player audios. so i'm looking at the pa and pbp audios for 03 and 04. i'd like to be able to use some of them for our classic mods since it contains a lot of names not present in 05. the thing is, i've extracted some of them and it's structured differently. the naming of each audio file in no way, that i can figure out, related to the players' id numbers. has anyone got anything that could help with this? i just don't think it'd be worth the time to search through thousands of files every time i want to look for one guy's name.

What I done with each new name I found was add them to my audio database. I've got all the names that I've pulled from the games plus what I've created all saved to my external HD, sorted by Krukow's voice, and by Kuiper's announcing of first and last names.

I've got almost one gig in just audio saved.

yeah, that's what i'm afraid i would have to do. i was hoping someone could help identify them all. would you happen to have scott brosius' pbp in there? i got his pa but can't find the pbp audio.

His pbp wasn't in MVP, but I have it from Triple Play 2002. The only thing is that it's Bob Costas' voice.

I've been thinking about using some of the audios from Costas, and Dan O'Brien from HH2003, but I didn't know if it would take away from the mods or not to have 2 or 3 different voices in there.

i've thought about that with that thread HCL and OTB got going, but then if you think about it, you'll have kru/kuipe saying "coming up to the plate next is the right fielder..." and then costas saying the name. it'll be kind of funny cuz it'll sound like they're just finishing each other's sentences.
