How are Jim Thome and Bobby Abreu doing? I see the Phillies are leading the NL East. Good stuff.

Thome and Abreu are doing very well for the Phillies. Thome is batting .270 with 25 home runs and 69 RBI. Abreu is currently second in the MVP race. His stats are .307 AVG, 11 HR, 64 RBI and 20 SB.

Typical Abreu stats. How did you get the 2005 rosters? Did you reinstall everything or just copy the originals from the disk?

No, I'm just using a very old version of Ultimate Rosters (2.3). I haven't updated my rosters after installing them back in May of 2005. Guess I like it old school... ;)

How are the "New" Mets doing xi? Is Pedro dominating? Is Piazza declining?

Piazza is having a good season, batting .312 with 13 long balls and 41 RBI. Beltran's number are quite disappointing (.265, 10 HR, 63 RBI). And Pedro had the worst possible start as a member of the Mets, as he suffered a torn right shoulder muscle during the first week of the season. Having him out of rotation for the entire year is one of the reasons why the Mets are struggling.

I really hope the latest loss doesn't prove to be crucial for my team. Geoff Jenkins tied the game with a pinch-hit, two-run homer off closer Armando Benitez in the ninth, but Ray Durham's second roundtripper of the night gave Frisco the win.

The Giants take two out of three games at Turner Field and edge closer in the Wild Card race. A three-game homestand against the D-backs is up next...

Hey Xlberger!

Lovin' the dynasty and digg your overall presentation...nice to see my bravos winnin' and holdin' down the wild-card spot...

could you tell me where you got the white w/blue no-sleeves Braves uniform the team wore when they beat the dodgers 4-2 to run theire record to 70-49? Those unis are bedazzled!

Big win against Jake Peavy - the second of the year, btw. With Wilson Betemit back in the lineup, I sent outfielder Brian Jordan back to AAA. I kept shortstop Tony F. Pena on the team because I need to have a backup option for second baseman Pete Orr.

Weekly update coming up next!
