How do you make all players free agents?

Hey, I tried looking this up and couldn't find very much on it. I am trying to make all the players in the default roster free agents so I can assign them to teams. I can't seem to find a way to do it with MVPedit, and quite honestly releasing all the players one by one takes forever (and I'm not even sure if I could save it without any players on any teams. Is there an easy way to do this?

I am actually trying to make a 1998 roster file. I would start at 1995 and perform the expansion draft myself, but I think it would be too much trouble to try to figure out how to make the game work with 28 teams instead of 30.

I'm not really looking for a mod to do this, as I enjoy designing the players based on how I see fit. I greatly appreciate any help, and even if I can't do it with MVPedit, it's still a great tool and I'm glad I came across this site.

he means to put them there temporarily so that he can assign them to the proper teams.

and there's no way that i can think of to do this. personally, i don't see why you would. i feel like that would actually create more work for you than anything.

Hoemr is right, as I would plan to asign the players to their respective teams.

If what I am proposing is not possible, then what would be the best way to go about creating the 1998 rosters? Should I export the players who wouldn't have been drafted yet to clear space? Or could I delete the fictional players on the default rosters, and then create players from 1998 who aren't in the game? Or is there a team code that I switch players to so they show up on that team's roster?

I apologize, as I am making the transition to MVP Baseball 2005. I just got the game two weeks ago, and I previously did roster conversations to High Heat 2003 using Danger Z's fantasic editor. I just can't seem to find a way to move players from team to team very easily like that editor allowed me to.

Again, despite that, I am very impressed with MVPedit.

My overall question is this - to accomplish what I want to do - create a 1998 roster set for MVP Baseball 2005 (I don't care about changing uniforms or anything like that yet), how can I do it with MVPedit?
