LazyHorse
I got the Total Installer Thingy and the 08 mod and, surprisingly, was able to install correctly and everything is running smoothly. So then I got greedy and downloaded the Create-A-Stadium Batter's Eye Fix. Opened up my C drive, found the folders, found the files and replaced them... but no change in the stadium. Luckily the game isn't crashing, but I'm sure it will (or worse) if I start poking around with the game files like the total noob that I am. So if anyone can help me... yanksrcool05
Just remember to back up the files that you decided to replace, just in case the game starts crashing.
SESbb30
you didnt install it right then. where are you installing it?

SESbb30
put it in the stadiums folder.
LazyHorse
Did that too. After the first transfer didn't seem to do anything, I threw the two day/night files already in the folder into the trash and then added the newly downloaded files to the stadium folder. SESbb30
did a readme come with it?
LazyHorse
No Read Me. Downloaded it. Opened it with WinRAR. There were only two files, venunite.big and venuday.big Opened C drive. Opened program files folder. Opened EA Sports Folder. MVP baseball folder. Data Folder. Stadium Folder. Dragged the files, one at a time, into the folder. I'm using Vista, so as an administrator, chose to Move and Replace File. And thats it. No change in the stadium. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, but the only instructions given were to "just copy venuday.big and venunite.big to your data/stadiums folder". xiberger
What updgrades have you purchased in your created stadium?
LazyHorse
OK, weird. I did not purchase any upgrades, just created an owner mode and skipped through the screens just to see if the stadium had a batter's eye. However loading the game again, I just noticed that the "going going gone" written on the light posts are actually gone... just like they should be if the download worked. So the files did transfer correctly, I assume, but where's the batter's eye then? I tried purchasing a few upgrades, as per xiberger's lead but... scoreboard- no batter's eye seating- ditto restaurant- nothing Also tried changing the size of the stadium but still no batter's eye. I'm completely lost..
SESbb30
have you tried playing in it to see if its there? or is that what you were saying?
LazyHorse
Yeah, tried playing. Not there. Edit: OK, I found the original thread for this download. Apparently, I have to upgrade the score board a few levels for this to work... So I guess I'm going to download Artmoney.... OK... so, I foresee problems... Thanks for the help everyone! Maestro23
Argh. So running Artmoney. Select EAmod's MVP08 from the process drop-down. Click Search. "Process not found" Argh. Try using Ty's Money Changer program if Artmoney is too hard to figure out. From the FAQ: http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=...t=ArtMoney.html I find Owner Mode too hard because I never have enough money. Is there any way to increase the size of my in-game wallet? Yes, you can use a program named ArtMoney, which you can download from here. If you have any questions regarding the use of this software, please contact the author of the program. Also, if you prefer, you can use Tywiggins' Money Changer program, available here.
LazyHorse
OK. Downloaded that. Opened it. "MVP 05 not running" OK... started the game, loaded owner mode, opened changemoney... "Address not found" Argh. What am I doing wrong?

LazyHorse
Wow. I... can't get anything to work! Here are the facts... 1. This works. However, I need more money to actually "purchase the batter's eye. 2. Downloaded and installed Art Money. I am following these directions... but am having problems with step 5. Every time I hit the search box I get the error message "Process not found". 3. Downloaded tywiggins Moneychanger. When I open it with the game running, I get the message "Address not found_press enter to quit". I read that you need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, but it is already part of my OS. I have no clue here. Hopefully someone has an idea... btw, I'm using the 08 mod

LazyHorse
So...close... You are right. However I can't find the .exe to change it. I see a EAmods 08 folder, but no .exe file. I ran a search and couldn't find it. Sigh. I know I sound like a retard. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Much thanks.
