Directory change?

I recently did a massive re-install so that I could get things set up to run multiple TC mods (78, 88, 94, 08, etc.)--when I did the original uninstall, I moved TiT out to the desktop so I wouldn't have to redownload and install it later. Unfortunately, I didn't know that TiT would install files to the folder in which it's located--which means when I re-installed MVP 2008, the associated files and folders are now all cluttering up my desktop.

Is there a way to move the files into a more conveniently-located folder without screwing up my ability to run the game? I.e., I don't want to move the files and then not be able to load b/c the program can't locate the necessary ones. Thanks!
