HollywoodHogan80
Thanks Homer! I've tried to find EAGraph before but was unable to. I used the big, nasty, all-encompassing FAQ list: Where can I download BIGGUI? From here. Where can I download EA Graphics Editor? From here. and the links don't seem to work for me. I've also checked in the download sections but my searches have come up empty. Hollywood
MarkB
Well, the links don't work because the addresses have changed since the site upgrade, but you can find EAGraph here and BigGUI here. I'll try to get around to updating the FAQ this weekend.

HollywoodHogan80
OK, I've opened the model.big files with EA Graphic Editor - makes a lot more sense now, lol. According to what I see, the used values for pre-existing players stop after c606... so I think c718 should be good to use without any problems. The Strawberry that I downloaded has the CyberFace value of: c718 , so that is what I will use. The file I downloaded is still zippid up in WinRAR. I can open the .fsh file with the EA Graphic Editor (the face skin looks really well done). There are a total of 3 files: c718.fsh , c718.ord and c718.orl In MVPedit, I've assigned my created Darryl Strawberry the face: 718 If I understand Homer correctly, in MVPedit, when presented with the option to use the 04 Face, I select NO (because the face I've downloaded is the 05 version with the full face). The questions I have now are: Where do I install the 3 zipped up cyberface files and how do I install them? In an attempt to answer my own question, I would export the 3 files into the models.big file. Is this correct? Hollywood
SESbb30
correct. you can probably use *** to install it too. that would be alot easier for people new to this.
Homer
you are correct. import it to the models.big and compress it. the easiest way to do it is to zip up the three files and use the Total Installer Thingy (***)to install it. then you will need to assign a portrait id and add the portrait and audio. then export the roster back into the game. HollywoodHogan80
Will Quick Installer do the same thing as Total Installer Thingy? I can't find T I T in the Tools/Editor downloads. Hollywood
Homer
i don't know what the quick installer is. you can find *** at eamods.
HollywoodHogan80
OK, thanks Homer! Oooohhhh so close..... Got the *** from EAMods. Installed it in the MVP Data folder. Opened it up and it worked... then I selected: Install Uniforms and or Faces (models.big) Placed the zipped file called 5346_strawberry.rar (this is the download for Strawberry's cyberface that I got from Jogar) into the window that had popped up and prompted me to place this file in it. Then I hit OK. Black screen with words on it came up, said it was applying the request and said it was succesful. Opened the models.big file up with EA Graphics Editor expecting to find the 3 files: c718.fsh , c718.ord and c718.orl however, what I found instead was the "5346_strawberry.rar" file. Did I do something wrong? What am I missing? Hollywood
Jim825
The .RAR file is just an archive to hold compressed versions of the face files. Most people use .RAR or .ZIP files for mods. It makes them smaller to download. You need to extract the face files from the .RAR file using a utility like WinRAR. Google WinRAR and you can download a free version from the web. After you extract the face files, try reinstalling them again. You should be all set then. The only issue right now is that you have the .RAR file inside your models.big. Hopefully you backed up your models.big file before trying to install the faces the first time. Copy the backed up version (the one without the .RAR file in it) to your models.big before trying to reinstall the face.
Homer
yeah, what jim said. the reason being is that it sounds like you got the Installer Thingy tool. which i don't get where you found it since it's no longer available for download. that is the one that allows you to choose which file to install to. for that, it's like jim said, you need not zip the files up to install them. you now have the issue of removing that file from your models.big, or replacing it altogether. the tool i was mention before was the Total Installer Thingy. it's the latest version of that utility and does everything for you. all you have to do is point to the zip or rar file with the cyberface files in it. HollywoodHogan80
Hey guys, Thanks for the help! Ok, I unzipped the files and then installed the extracted files into models.big and SUCCESS!!! I've got Strawberry's face in the game. VERY COOL!!! And yes, I took your guy's advice from earlier and backed-up everything before I started messing around, thanks for the HUGE tip! Now I'm going to put his portrait in (I've already got the portrait and the black and white pic ready to go, I think) just need to reread how to install them. I have no idea what I should do about audio. Is it possible to have the announcers actually say his name when he steps to the plate? HollywoodHogan80
Is there any way to edit a player with MVPedit, if that said player was created with the MVP Baseball 2005 create a player option? The reason I ask, is I like the body build option that is available in the actual game when creating players. Hollywood

But don't worry, all the options from the game are also available in MVPEdit.
