hollywood57
Hey guys, A question about pickoff attempts...I know the buttons, but the attempt is really, really slow. I have no power on my throw. How do I push the button ? Is it like throwing a classical pitch? It looks like to be more difficult, speeder... Thanks
Yankee4Life
I don't know how you are doing it man but I can throw over to first with a lot of speed.
hollywood57
I push the 7-button with the pad in the direction of the base, but the cursor on the pitch meter stop before the middle, so the throw is very slow.
Maestro23
I push the 7-button with the pad in the direction of the base, but the cursor on the pitch meter stop before the middle, so the throw is very slow. What I use: Bottom-Left-Shoulder Button: Slower Throw over to the bag. Top Left-Shoulder Button: Quicker Move and Throw. I've caught my fair share of runners on 1st, but you have to catch the CPU when he's leaning or getting ready to steal. Also, I've caught a runner on 1st when he was getting ready to steal and he's took off for 2nd and I had him dead-to-rights. I also use a datafile & set of sliders. MarkB
I have the same problem, but it's just the way your controller is set up. It's not a big deal for me as I rarely make a real pickoff attempt, I usually just pitch out if I suspect a steal. If you change your button configuration, it'll probably work fine. cococrispy
Hmmm, I think that happened before with one of my controllers... I think the controls may have been improperly setup.
