rmcguire
I just got the game, and loaded it w/ vista sp1, I still need to change my controller config following this: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=15434&st=220 but what mods/patches should I load first to help with stuttering, errors, visuals, etc. Also, with the total conversion mods, once you load one...say the 2008 season can I not load the '88 mod? thanks
Maestro23
Welcome to the site. Endless
Before you download MVP08 or any other mod make sure that you have at least official patch 2 and 3 installed. They fix some bugs in the game and some mods don't work without them. If I remember correctly patch 4 and 5 are simple roster updates and they are not necessary. I do however install patch #2 when I install any of the TC mods.

Do you mean that patch #5 doesn't include the changes made in patch #2 and #3? I thought that by installing #5 I'd be all right with all the fixes...
