Homer Classic Cyberfaces

well the problem is that i don't have them set to work with any particular roster. you have to change the id numbers to match the right player in the mod you are using. I had to do it this way because some mods have different guys for different cyberface slots. unfortunately, we are limited to how many faces we can use, so we can't have an organized way to number them.

i've thought about one day going through and making packs for each mod, but that would be quite the undertaking.

yeah i don't have installers because the faces most often requires renaming before installing. but if you know how to use mvpedit, then simply make sure the 04 setting is on the correct setting on the face you're using. then rename the three cyberface files to match the player's cyberface number. zip those three files up and install it with the total installer thingy.

you can get the total installer thingy at eamods. install it into the mvp directory, the folder where your mvp2005.exe is at.

open your roster (1978 here) in mvpedit and locate the player you want to change. let's for all intensive purposes pretend you want to install my ron guidry face. so locate him in mvpedit, and go to the "Appearance" tab. under there, you will see a box that says 04 face. since i have an 05 version of his face, this box will need to say no. there is also a face box next to it. for him, it should say 682. so you will take the three cyberface files i have for him, and just simply re-name them (right click and re-name) to c682, c682.ord, and c682.orl. take those three files and zip them up (.zip, .rar, .z7...whatever format you wish). then open the total installer thingy and browse for the zipped file and hit Start. it should take care of it for you. you will know it is done when your browser opens to eamods' donation page.

if for some reason you find that the player has a generic number assigned to him (901 or higher), you will need to assign him a new number. you may either ask the author of the mod if there's an open slot, or find one yourself. re-assign the number, and rename the files as mentioned above. lastly, just export your roster in mvpedit back into the game.

that should do it.
