I deleted it for you Mr. Rudi. And thank you for this interesting dynasty. It brings back so many great memories.

Thank you Y4L. I'm glad you're enjoying it (and hopefully others "our" age) and even the younger guys can enjoy it as well. And you're right, it is amazing the memories that come back by playing this dynasty, and seeing the names (Chet Lemon, Claudell Washington, etc.), and so on.

With that said, I still love the modern era of baseball too, but "the late 70's" are my stomping grounds. I'll never forget them.

I told you JR, you would get off the snide against the ChiSox.

Congrats man. Oh, and look at Sweet Lou laying down a bunt.... priceless. :o

Lou Piniella, Billy Martin, and George Steinbrenner all in one place. Now that is priceless. :D

Joe - I'm with you on that. The mid to late 70's were the "golden age" for me as well (I'm in my late 40's now). That's one of the reasons I created TC78. It allows me to re-live my youth. Hearing the player names in the game brings back lots of great memories.

Jim, although I'm "only" in my early 40's (42), I think this era was at a time in my life (12 or 13) when I was most vulnerable to role models, so to speak. Combined with my love of the game, these guys (ball players) were bigger than life to me, and the memories from playing this mod flushes out those times when I had my baseball cards out, looking through books, or whatever it happened to be, and the names that I thought I had forgotten about.

As I grew older and started playing and collecting baseball video games, I always dreamed of being able to go back and play in this era.

You (and all that were involved) have done a superb job. Thank you to each and every one of you, I just hope I can represent it with some authenticity.

JoeRudi= Dynasty HOF this dynasty is amazing with a tongue twister start :)

You aren't kidding. When I log on here each day I go to this thread first. With his photoshop skills and game presentations, this is a real treat to follow.

Yo Maestro, you mapped yourself a plan with your season this year? Decided what to go with yet?

I have an outline(1/2 done) of how I want to do the '78 dynasty. I've been thinking about an '09 dynasty though as well. Some of these off-season moves some teams have made intrigue me. Could be a fun year.

I agree 100%. I'll be doing something for 09 too. (besides downloading it) :)
