stamcoff1979
I just picked this up the other day and was wondering if there any mods at all for this game? Im guessing since there are none here they are either rare or just dont exist. Either way if anyone knows of any let me know. Thx ....if i could only get Bond's batting stance into MVP 2005....lol
Yankee4Life
Not that I know of. Maybe rosters, but that's about it. Check at Baseball Sim Central. Hardly anything (if at all) was made for this.
Yankee4Life
I just went to Sim Central to check for you. There's 13 files there for Mvp Baseball. No rosters, mostly patches for the game.

Yankee4Life
Baseball Sim Central again. This time you will have better luck with the High Heat files. It says that they have 219 files for this game. Link for files at Sim Central
adam2kennedy
It is possible to import old animations (such as batting stances) into MVP 2005. I've imported the old Manny Ramirez batting stance into 2005 with few problems. I'd imagine you could do it with the Bonds one too, you have to export and go through each SIGB0000.axt file with a text reader to see which stance you're dealing with, but if you find the Bonds one try exporting it's SIGB0000.axt, ord and orl files. You'd probably have to rename it and overwrite a stance in 2005 (I'd suggest just overwriting one of the "classic" stances) but I'm almost certain it can be done. emath2432
I am one of the older members still active at Sim Central. I just gave up on High Heat, and came to MVP 05 after finding I was the only person left modding the game (except for roster). We had someone doing unis, me on stadiums, and a couple of others on rosters, but the uni guy left, and new stadiums are hard there, as no one ever figured out how to remap the stadiums.... Anyway, I still post there, and can tell you they have more files than that available, but the cost of the second server to host files was too much, so the sites owner dropped it, and only posts mods that are requested... Find Gwynar, and PM him with any requests. As he gets time, he will try to get them up for you. There are more High Heat mods up in a thread down in the 2k3 section that I started, with links to downloads that I put up on rapidshare as well, to help relieve the server load for him... stamcoff1979
If you find the Bonds one try exporting it's SIGB0000.axt, ord and orl files. Ok i found the Bonds SIGB0000.axt, ord and orl files in MVP 2003. Now the only difference in these files from MVP 03 to MVP 05 is SIGB0000.axt file in 05 is in the .axt format where in 03 its in a .txt format instead of the .axt. adam2kennedy
I'm beginning to think that maybe the 2003 and 2005 files aren't compatible...I must've used the 2004 Ramirez stance because I've been working on getting the 2003 Bonds stance into 2005 and the game is crashing (trying to overwrite the Berra stance). Not sure if there's something wrong with the .axt file or if it's the animation files themselves that are causing this.
