rmcguire
I've installed total classics phase 9 and it will run, but when I try to play and exhibiton game every time it locks up.
rmcguire
it seems to be just happening at the metrodome and fulton county stadium Another quick question is TC9 a compilation of the other phases or are they all completely separate mods? thanks for the help
Jim825
Phase 9 contains everything that was in previous phases (except teams that may have been replaced). As far as your lock up issue, we need more than just "The game locks up when I play exhibition games in these stadiums." What are your system specs.? What teams are you playing with? Who are the pitchers?
rmcguire
pitchers are Smoltz or Glavine and Jack Morris at Metrodome '93 Braves @ '91 Twins 3 GB of RAM Vista Ultimate SP1 2.80 GHz Processor any ideas?

Jim825
I found the problem. The crash occurs because Chuck Knoblauch's face on the '91 Twins is missing in the models.big file. Further investigation showed that for some reason his face number changed from TC8 to TC9. In TC9, he has face #586 on the '91 Twins, but face #730 on the '98 and 2000 Yankees. In TC8, he had face #730 on all 3 teams. I verified that face #730 is in the models.big file. To fix your problem, open up your TC9 rosters with MVPEdit, go to the '91 Twins and change Knoblauch's face number to 730. Export your rosters and you will be good to go. As a reward for finding this problem, you will be able to download TC10, when it becomes available, at no charge! We will waive the usual $29.95 TC upgrade fee. It also shows how popular the '91 Twins are as a team to play with, right? btw, did you know that Knoblauch is the german word for garlic? Names really can be funny sometimes.
