Is There A Way To Remove The Cd Check?

And before everyone flips out on me, YES I own the original discs, I've had the same copy of MVP 2005 since the day it came out. I ask because there is only one other game installed on my PC where I NEED the disc in the drive to play, where as all others either have some sort of online aspect so I don't need the disc (Spore, WoW, Steam games, etc) to start the game. I have my PC in my living room and I'd like to eliminate the extra step of swapping discs whenever I want to play MVP 2005. Has anyone either made a no cd crack for the patched version, or a mod here to eliminate the cd check? The only one I've ever been able to find on the 'net is for the original version which has the stuttering problem. Thank you.

Of course, in same way anything else can be removed from a .exe file. You just need to know what to do, and what you're looking for.

No.

backup the disc and mount it as a cd using DAEMON

Tried that once, it couldn't locate the disc. Said something like insert the correct disc or something like that. If I put the real disc into my D: drive, it does work.

Yeah, I figured that way would work, but I know sometimes those daemon/etc tools can disagree with installations of other games that have securom and other type checks installed so I wanted to avoid installing that program if at all possible. Maybe I'll try it and see if everything else I have installed agrees with it. Thanks.

And I know I shouldn't have even asked if a no-cd mod was on this site, as I understand you guys not wanting to "encourage" anybody in acquiring the game that way. I understand that, thanks for your answers.
