I'm looking to find out who uses the Steam gaming system on this site. ( http://store.steampowered.com/ )

I hope to make a Group for MVPmods and other community users.

Here are the games I currently have on Steam:

Left 4 Dead

Rainbow Six Vegas 2

World in Conflict

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Team Fortress 2

Company of Heroes

Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2: Episode One

Half-Life 2: Episode Two

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast

I've never heard of this. What do we do?

Steam itself is free.

You can purchase and download various games thru Steam, if you wish, or add games that are steam-compatible to your list once you're a member (if you wish).

The point of the whole Steam thing is to function as a way to get people that all own/play certain games together, and be able to play together online.

I had never heard of it before my old college roommate bought Left 4 Dead for me (thru Steam) for Christmas.

Since then I've gotten used to it, and it's pretty sweet for the function it serves.

i have it, but its not installed on my pc. it wont install on my pc, i had a virus, and my HD got wiped and i go to reinstall it and it gives me an error, and i cant create an account on the steam website. I had counterstrike, and GMOD. although my connection isnt good enough to play online (at least it wasnt), i mostly played GMOD.

I was listing the games that *I* have.

And no, I do not have NBA2K9, because I find basketball to be completely un-entertaining. I am well aware it is a massively popular sport (and video game). I just don't give a whoopteedoo about it, personally.

I've got Steam , play CS:S on it. I'll join this MVPMods group later today.

edit : apparently invite only. Add Ixcuincle - Zargotelc

I sent you a friend request and invited you to the group.

Steam has been highly popular since the original Team Fortress mod of quake and counter strike came out. I have been privilaged to play and still play to this day both games.

I have Orange Box for Steam and play TF2 on my pc with my standard set of 8 friends (my crew) but as of late I have been playing the game on my Xbox instead because 2 of our members comps crapped the bed
