masternachos
I'm sure you're all getting sick of me and my inability to do anything on my own. Anyway, I have a few questions, so I'll merge them to save space. Again, I've got MVP07, and have no plans on changing that. 1) I do not know what exactly what it is called, but how do I change the way the camera zooms when I play a game? I want it back the way it was in the original. 2) How can I go about restoring the default overlay (if that is what the "look" of pitch-meter, etc. when I play a game)? 3) What exactly is "Batter Overlay," as in the Gameplay options (?) of the menu? 4) What do the ball, glove, foot, bat symbols mean? I assume they mean "pitching, defense, baserunning, and hitting," but that's when it's got team rankings. What do they mean when they show up when I'm playing a game? Well, thanks for the help. I hope you can solve my problems.
RaptorQuiz
For #1 - you may need to change the datafile - but have you played with the in-game settings for the fielding/batting/hitting cameras? For #2 - that's the datafile (Trues might be able to help you out here) For #3 - It's what pops up when a batter steps to the plate. It will show his stats, his attributes, or cycle b/w the two. For #4 - It's the players ratings for throwing, fielding, speed, and contact-hitting, respectively (IIRC). :)

masternachos
Thanks for all the help. #1: I have not changed a thing camera-wise since installing 07. My question might not be that, actually: I just don't like how it's all 'zoomy' now. #2: For further clarification, the 'overlay' that I'm thinking of also includes the batter overlay. #3, 4: I always had inklings, I just wanted to finally get a real answer. Anyway, thanks again. But I still need more help with 1 and 2, I think...

There are also some camera mods as well. You can also change the camera view yourself. Camera Adjustment Tutorial: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=5690&hl= As for "Batter Overlay" option in-game. It will display the stats or a hitter's ratings. You can also have it cycle between the two.
masternachos
First, thank-you for the camera info. It's late right now, so I'll try that later. But the 'batter overlay' I'm thinking of is the style that came with 07, not the specific "stat vs. attributes" thing.

You can check the Overlay Downloads section though.
masternachos
I was just playing againg; I think I just imagined the camera problem or something, I don't know what I was thinking. As for the overall overlay, I'll just see if there is one I can download. Thank-you all for the help!
