Homer
has anyone found a decent alternative for windows sound recorder? just can't use it any more because of the 2gb memory limitations. but i need something very basic and simple as this. meaning, i just want to open a wav, delete parts of it i don't want, record in silence if necessary and either mix or insert another audio to it without much hastle. i've been trying audacity, but for the love of me i just can't do a simple task like that. i don't need something so complex. simplicity is what i'm looking for. emath2432
Goldwave is great... But, simplicity is not something goldwave has... It takes a while to figure a lot of the stuff out if you have never used it before.
Homer
thanks for the input guys. but turns out after exploring many different forums, i've decided to go with wavosaur. simple as pie and free. even uses basic windows cut, copy and paste commands. this exactly what i was looking for.
