JoernIII
hi everyone ! is it right ? this game has a big big pichting bug !!! i pitch and the batter hit all balls. all ! the made points after points i have chance to make a strike. this is a big bug in this game, sure. if i select a pitch nucker, fastball or so on, what does it mean with the arrows in the left screen. there are 3 arrwos to right or buttom or left. i dont know what does it mean. i play with the logitec dual action and looking for a manual how can i pitch. the most ball i pitch are to slow if i throw in the midel of the zone. if i wait for the big yellow circle the ball goes out of the zone. i don´t know how to pitch. test it all but now i think it´s a bug. this game makes no fun can someone help a little bit ? thanks
JoeRudi26
Since I'm using the same controller (Logitech Dual Action), I'll see if I can explain this to you. The arrows represent GESTURES. Each gesture is an act of throwing the ball. Think of gesture 1 as your windup. Think of gesture 2 as following through with the pitch. At least this is how I thought of it in order to simplify it. From looking at this screen, let's go through the motion of throwing the fastball: 1. First, with your Left Stick, select a location with the Ball Cursor. 2. Hold the Right Stick DOWN (#1) and let the circle fill up as much as possible (This is for accuracy/location) 3. After the circle is filled, hold up on the Right Stick UP (#2) as quick as you can. (This is for speed/velocity) Really, this is all there is to it. For the circle change, you would hold up for #1, let the circle fill, and then quickly push down and to the left (counter clockwise) to complete the pitch, and so on. When your pitch is perfect (or near perfect), the circle will light up red with some text, can't remember exactly what it is, lol. And remember, it takes practice. The practice mode in this game is a great tool. Hope this helps.
InSainn
JR, how did you get the batting camera view while pitching?
JoeRudi26
JR, how did you get the batting camera view while pitching? I never have used the 'behind the pitcher view' to pitch. For some reason, my fielding is much better with the ball coming off the bat in the batter view.
InSainn
Somehow I overlooked that... I don't think it's gonna make much difference in my opinion of the game though...
JoernIII
@JR thanks for answer. i will test the full control. i play classic-control. hope thats easyer. what i see too is that the picher from the adversary pitch corret. make no mistake the pitcher from other teams pitch every time in the zone. i play over 20 games complete and lost every game with more than 15 point different. i don´t know. the game makes me not happy. so better play nhl or nba
