Jaxen
I'm not asking for them right now this very second, but I was wondering if Citi Field and New Yankee Stadium will eventually be done for MVP 2005-08, or has all the manpower and effort gone into 2K9? I know some modders have moved on to the new game, but I'm sticking with '05 because 2K9 reviews I've heard are rather "ho-hum" and I've spent too much time modding the '05 game up and getting it juuuuust right. I'm content to use Shea and Old Yankee as they're the only NY parks I've ever known, but I just want to know if I should keep an eye out for the new ones ... or not. I tinkered with ZMod one day a few weeks ago, but it would take me forever to do them myself, and I don't have lots of continous free time -- or patience -- to dedicate to that. saimon
HaloFan
I don't think you're going to see much of anything until after the season starts. I don't think all the modders have gone away, but until the stadiums have made their debuts, it's really hard to put the finishing touches on anything. I knew that if they were being worked on for MVP 05 we wouldn't see them until mid-April. I just wanted to know if they were gonna get worked on, or would they only show up in 2K9. We're just 2 weeks from Opening Day, I thought maybe I'd catch the attention of someone who was working on Citi and New Yankee.

I highly doubt anyone will have anything soon for those stadiums. I don't think anyone is even working on those stadiums at all. Unless someone has been working on the down low, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
grungebag
with the new yankee stadium opening tom i'm sure someone will think of it!
emath2432
Well, the Citi field mod is up already, but the only person that was working on new Yankee has put it on hold, most likely permanently, with 2k9's arrival. At least that was the last thing he mentioned to me about it. Since both the old and new look so much a like, I was thinking about doing a texture mod of Yankee for my own personal use, to try and give it a new Yankee stadium feel. Untill I get more comfortable with Zmod, that would be all I do. If I could at least get the batters eye thing out in CF, and then the texture stuff I was already planning, I would be happy. I am not looking for perfect. For now, the texture changes is all I will be doing, most likely this weekend. The batters eye will have to wait.
