adrift392
Hi Just like portrait files where you can't just rename the filename and apply to somewhere else- you have to use fshtool and edit the index file etc, I'm sure that you can't rename the file of stadiums and cyberfaces and apply them wherever you feel like? So how do I do this and what tools would I need? cheers
Jim825
You can replace stadiums without having to edit them. Just rename the stadium to whatever stadium you want it to replace. For example, if you want the Astros to play in the Astrodome by default instead of Minute Maid Park, copy the Astrodome file (astrdome.big) to daytime Minute Maid Park (minuday.big) and nighttime Minute Maid Park (minunite.big). To make sure all the collision data and camera angles still work properly, however, you would have to extract the corresponding .txt file(s) from the data \ datafile \ datafile.big, rename them and copy them to your data folder. Going back to the Astrodome example, extract the astrdome.txt file from the datafile.big file using a tool like EAGraph, make two copies of it and name them minuday.txt and minunite.txt and copy them to your data folder. Now, if you want the stadium name audio to change as well (e.g. when the Astros take the field, the announcer says, "Welcome to the Astrodome"), that would take a little more work. As far as cyberfaces, if you have the three separate pieces (.fsh, .orl and .ord files), you can rename them and install them with your tool of choice (EAGraph, TiT, etc.). adrift392
oh so if I have for instance 732.fsh, 732.ord and 732.orl files, but want to use slot number 800, I just simply rename them and install them?
