I have a question about the team tab how do you change team names been wanting to create a team and others to use in MVP 05

You have to manually edit the team.dat and tstat.dat roster files with a text editor. The team.dat file contains the team names and associated abbreviations. You then edit the tstat.dat file and change any of the team abbreviations that you might have changed.

For example, here's a snippet from the team.dat file using in the Total Classics 1951 mod:

Hi Jim825 were do you find all this stuff that you are talking about and by the way thanks for all the help you gave me in the conversion mods have all the mods now and they are working great and enjoying them

in your game directory, look for a the database folder. it's inside the data folder.

What operating system are you using -- XP? Vista? Are the files set to read-only? If you are running Vista, do you have administrator privileges? I'm still running XP, but have heard Vista users say that you have to have administrator privileges to do certain things. You should be able to edit the files with a regular text editor like Notepad or Textpad.

if you're using xp, just right click the file and select "Open With". then browse for notepad.

Jim825 is there any truth to what was said in the old time overlay download that there is going to be a mod for the Negro Leagues and the All-Time Franchise Greats team set. That would be totally awesome
