Is it me or is it extremely hard to reisgn your own players?

My brother is running a league and some of the guys just wont' sign even if he maxes them out in the cash he left on the bank. (which is crazy lol)

It does seem a bit more difficult to resign your own players than to sign other free agents. It probably has something to do with them being a big part of your success (or lackthereof). If your team did really well, they probably think that they were a big help in doing so well, so they feel that you owe them a big raise. If your team did awful, then they probably don't want to stick around, so you'll have to give them a lot to stay.

Also, if you meet the goals (3 year and 1 year) i THINK you ge ta budget boost. and dont **** off the player. liek a repeatedly offered BH kim a dum contract to the point where he wouldnt talk to me...lol.

hes acually good in my game...as a reliever tho...

I find that its actually good to **** my players off when negotiating a new contract with them. Once they say they won't talk to me, I release them and let them go out on the market. From there I go and see what they are asking for, and it is usually a lot less than what they were demanding from me, and they'll talk to me again as well.

I"ve pissed some off enough but yet they still can be signed...which is odd..but they want big time cash. I noticed Richard Hidelgo was doing that to me. So I let him go, and here I am in Spring Training and whos' sitting in Free Agency unsiged..lol

Guess he wanted alot
