JustinMorneau
i see the cpu checking their swing all the time. is it possible for the user to do this? thanks
hackman2007
I did it with the Classic Hitting, but not with the Total Control. They always call the check swings as strikes for me though. Maybe someone else actually got one that wasn't.
gobluen07
I don't think it would be possible to do it with the total control. It too sensitive. On my controller anyway
Wicked420
I've done it a couple times on total control, accidentally... Not sure how. I've been meaning to go into practice and see how it works but never think of it when I'm in the game.

ramenite
yeah, I've done it with both, and normally do it when I want to. With classic hitting, it's like MVP. You just don't push the button in all the way. With the Total Control--you have to pull back. I actually thing it's a little EASIER with the TC, because there's a bit more margin of error using the stick vs. the button.
Jgigs
It happen to me once on accident. I pulled back and my finger slipped off on the upward thrust which resulted in a check swing. Every time I tried to pull back for a check swing it ended in a full swing.
jabloomf1230
Yep, same here, If your thumb slips off of the right stick while going up, you get a check swing. But I can't do it on purpose either. Maybe it's down, up and right or something crazy like that.
