graniteball
Hey fellas, Anyone have a good guide for how the Computer decides batting orders? It kills me when I play a team and someone like Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero or even Joe Mauer is batting 1st in the lineup. Contact must be a big factor in the computer's decision on who to bat first, but i'd rather have an 80 Contact with 80 speed batting first over a guy with 90 contact and 70 speed or even a 60 speed like Mauer. Can anyone throw me a bone? It would be much appreciated! Grant
matrocks12
I totally agree, also, sometimes they will put the better fielding first baseman in at first and the worse one at DH, but the DH one will be left out in the NL lineup on the bench. It's really weird.

It's really weird. Do you mean Tino Martinez and Jason Giambi on the default rosters of the game because that's what happens they but Martinez in 1B and Giambi DH because Martinez is better fielder.
