Offseaon Error

Anyone run into this situation?

I do my offseason and all then it says, "Last change before spring training" then it optimizes the rosters. It stays there with this bar on the window just not progressing. I waited 35 minutes and it didn’t' even move an inch.

Something wrong with my rosters?

I had this happen to me too. I got all the way to 2023 in my dynasty and I had to start all over. FYI, I use the PC version. I would think that this wouldn't happen on the game consoles.

I simulated most of it. I kept switching teams every three or six years just to make it interesting. I played only the teams' rivalry games and playoff games (I actually watched them). I probably won the World Series about 75% of the time. I gave the Yankees players good stats though, since I'm a Yankee fan! They won the World Series six times. In 2019 most of their players retired, so they just turned into a mediocre team, hanging around .500 for the last few years.

I've got the whole list of champions right here:

2004: New York Mets defeated Baltimore Orioles

2005: Toronto Blue Jays defeated New York Mets

2006: Cleveland Indians defeated Chicago Cubs

2007: New York Yankees defeated Milwaukee Brewers

2008: Kansas City Royals defeated San Diego Padres

2009: Houston Astros defeated New York Yankees

2010: New York Yankees defeated Milwaukee Brewers

2011: New York Yankees defeated Milwaukee Brewers

2012: New York Yankees defeated Milwaukee Brewers

2013: Atlanta Braves defeated New York Yankees

2014: Milwaukee Brewers defeated Detroit Tigers

2015: Milwaukee Brewers defeated Cleveland Indians

2016: New York Yankees defeated Houston Astros

2017: Oakland Athletics defeated Arizona Diamondbacks

2018: New York Yankees defeated Los Angeles Dodgers

2019: Tampa Bay Devil Rays defeated Los Angeles Dodgers

2020: Seattle Mariners defeated Montreal Expos

2021: Tampa Bay Devil Rays defeated Houston Astros

2022: St. Louis Cardinals defeated Texas Rangers

2023: League crashed just before Spring Training started

I could post the MVP's and CY Young Winners later if you want.

Well check this out I noticed something intersting here.

When I simmed all of the off season let the PC to do..it went right into Spring Training games no issues what so ever. Do think that it might be the fact that I'm changing up the rosters so much. Dumping players and such...?

Yeah it's not a good thing that's for sure..

I was thinking maybe its because the rosters are not at full for MLB, AAA, AA? Or maybe one of the models was messed up on one of the new players?

Hmm its' justing intersting that it works if u sim it.

Well back to this topic about the error this weekend I tried the same saved franchise and it worked. It seems the only two things I could think of that was doing it was. When it came to resign players I would just release the guys I didnt' play on resigning. I dind't do that this time and it worked. I tried to keep my minors full too this time round.

All in all I think this error is fixable.

I started a new franchise with the Cubs. Here are the World Series results so far:

2004: Boston Red Sox defeated Chicago Cubs in 6

2005: New York Yankees defeated St. Louis Cardinals in 5

2006: Chicago Cubs defeated Boston Red Sox in 4

2007: Chicago Cubs defeated Chicago White Sox in 6

It's kind of funny that I got Red Sox vs. Cubs twice, which is what FOX has wanted for several years now. Then I got an all-Chicago World Series, which would be great for Chicago.

BTW, in 2007, Sammy Sosa won the World Series for the Cubs on a walk-off HR at Wrigley. Pretty cool. Somehow, I doubt that in real life he'll be there in 2007.
