Greg Putnam
Ever since I installed that patch my game has gone flooey. I can nolonger load mlb2k9 on my system. It appears I have misplaced my system.ini file somehow somewhere. Does someone out there have a copy they could email me at gregputnam@blueridge.net. Wicked420
You ask for setup.ini in the title, and then ask for system.ini in the post... Neither of these are 2K9 files. system.ini is most likely Windows file and the other one could be a any number of things...

Have you tried to completely uninstall 2k9 and then reinstalling it, applying the patch and then re-starting? Seems to me there must have been some kind of error when this patch was installed the first time. Also, having someone mail you their system.ini will do you no good at all. A system.ini stores configuration information for Windows system settings. The settings on another person's computer is always different from yours.
