abc006
Hey guys, back from the dead to ask a quick question - I'm trying to install MVP on a different computer, but for some reason the disc seems to have a corrupt file - about halfway through the installation of the first disc, an error message pops up saying that a file is corrupt, and asks to retry or cancel, and of course retrying doesn't help, so I'm forced to cancel and undo the entire installation. This, obviously, really, really sucks. Is it an unfixable problem with the disc and that's it's just too scratched up, and so I'm totally screwed in regards to my copy, or is there a way of getting around it? If you want to know the exact file name, I can let you know. Thanks. (By the way, in a small aside, how's 2k9? Is it actually decent or is it as crappy as everyone makes it out to be? I downloaded the demo and it didn't work at all, the screen was just blank, strangely - does anyone know if this is an indication that the actual game won't work on my computer?) abc006
Actually, never mind! After cleaning it for about the fifth time, it finally worked! Though I still am wondering about 2k9.
abc006
OK, scratch that, now, whenever I go into a game from the menu screen, the game just crashes. I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have to do with the fact that I'm running it on Vista, but I tried running it as an administrator and it didn't work either. Has anybody else had a similar problem? Thanks again.
