Three Little Questions

Hello again everyone. I've installed MVP07 for my MVP2005, and I have a few (more) questions to ask (sorry that I'm so lousy with technology...).

1) While I've got the 07 rosters, I still want to start playing in the 2005 season. The problem, though, are a number of young players who are 'too good' for 2005. I just want to know if anyone has any advice for changing their attributes. For example, a certain percent of skill decreasing in order that they will gain the skills back (roughly) by 2007.

2) Is there an easy way for me to get old pictures of certain baseball players (2005 season or so)? i.e. a good website to get them, and an easy way to install them. (I read in one tutorial that you should use Adobe Photoshop- does it have to be that specific program, or can I use Paint or something?)

3) When playing, I still can't seem to be able to intentionally walk or hit-by-pitch a batter, no matter what button I assign for the task. I've got a laptop with the keyboard in it, so I can't unplug it or anything.

Thank-you so much, I hope you can help me!

I don't know about questions 1 or 3, but I can tell you that for question 2, you do not need Photoshop to create and install portraits. When I create portraits, I use a use a simple program called Irfanview (it's free to download). I crop the portrait and size it to 128 x 128 and save it as a .BMP file. Next, I open up the roster with MVPEdit, click on the player's portrait and when it asks me to select a portrait, I select the .BMP file I just created.

For older pictures, I've searched for images on Google or Altavista and then copied them to my PC.

Yeah, I can't either (do the teo things you mentioned in number 3).

I assume we can do with it with the controller config file, but I have never messed with it. I have everything else mapped where I want it. I have the buttons mapped in the game to do what I want them to for the two things you mentioned, but it doesn't work on the controller.
