cococrispy
Hi, While browsing the internet, I found a website where I can play games, and get free stuff. I registered at http://www.jact.com, and downloaded their Eamonn client. During games (like Call of Duty 4 for example), it runs a counter in the bottom right corner of the game. The more time I play, the more points I get, which can be exchanged for rewards. I think that they sell the data collected from your game, and sell it to the highest bidders for marketing research. For more information, I found a video explaining the service: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0jrgGOY5lU. Anyway, I notice that there is no MVP 2005 or MLB 2k9 game on the list of supported games that can be used. The Jact moderators said that they will prioritize to add a game to the list of supported games if there are at least 10 people who post in support in a proposed game topic (http://www.jact.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=995). I think it would be great to support MLB 2005 or/and MLB 2k9. Here is a link for supporting MVP 2005: http://www.jact.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4113, and MLB 2K9: http://www.jact.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4034. Wicked420
I posted in the threads to try and get support. Have you actually tried this? Does it work? Legit? How does it work? They say from your "viewership", what is that?

They say from your "viewership", what is that? Thanks for supporting, 7 more to go and it will probably be supported I have not tried getting prizes yet (just found out about it), but I heard many people say it is legit. They make money by getting data from you, and selling that data to the highest bidder. It is not spyware, people buy the data for marketing research, like to know what games people play and how much they play. Also, the prizes are not too easy to get... You still need to play hours of a game or games (which is why it is almost definitely legit). But its still cool how you can just play MVP with the counter (giving you virtual money called "bux" to get free rewards/prizes) on the bottom right corner going up while you play. And about the viewership... I don't know what that is. Where did you find that?
gobluen07
So is it like Folding @ Home, only you can win stuff??
cococrispy
So is it like Folding @ Home, only you can win stuff?? Uhhh, I don't really understand folding @ home... But I guess so. In one sentence summary, by running the Jact program it collects "bux" to earn rewards (if you earn enough money). Very simple and harmless. cococrispy
http://www.jact.com/about.php According to Wikipedia (sorry, but there arent many other places with as many definitions of words as wikipedia ) it means: Audience measurement measuring how many people are in an audience. I think that means that it counts the data, like the games you mostly play, and the hours of gameplay on it. Thats basically it, and they sell the data to the highest bidder.
