Vikrant Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 I'm not very good yet so I'm using my custom sliders. It seems that the CPU pitcher throws way too many strikes. I've seen some people on here lower the AI strike zone tendency to 5/100. Is that realistic? I want more balls thrown by the pitcher so should I really lower it that much? I guess I was going against Chad Billingsley on the Dodgers and I guess he doesn't walk many people. Just give me a good range for AI Strike Zone Tendency and AI Pitch Zone Tendency. gobluen07 Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 Having it set at 5 or 0 is definitely "realistic" with this game. Star pitchers will still be in or around the strike zone all game forcing you to swing the bat. Mediocre pitchers will be less accurate and you will have more chances to work counts and wait for your pitch. Patience at the plate is the certainly important too.
