kaplerisking
Well I'm a Red Sox fan, but I got sick of being them so I closed my eyes and picked a team to do a fantasy draft with. Anyway, I got the Milwaukee Brewers, and I won about 115 games in my first year with them (which I just finished), thanks to great hitting in the first half, and my pitching came alive in the second half. I probably can't remember everyone, but I'll post what I can recall. 2B Luis Castillo (stole 61 bases, .305 average) SS Edgar Renteria 1B Albert Pujols CF Carlos Beltran RF Craig Wilson (career year, 32 HR's 109 rbi) C Paul Loduca LF Frank Catalonotto 3B Casey Blake Pitcher Spot Bench SS Cezar Izturis 2B Pokey Reese C Doug Mirabelli OF Gabe Kapler OF/1B Dave McCarty Starting Rotation Tim Wakefield (Incredible season, 24-2, 3.13 era) Andy Petitte Oliver Perez Joe Blanton Brian Lawrence Bullpen Rafael Soriano Braden Looper Brendan Donnelly Rheal Cormier Ugueth Urbina Billy Wagner

Viceman2004
Unfortunatley, i lost my dynasty cuz my comp freaked out and had to re-format. So i decided to to start one with the Mets until MVP 05 comes out. I am using 2004 Trade Deadline roster. I dotn want to use an offseason roster since those trades are far from over. Anyway i made one transaction so far. Traded one of my setup men for 2 prospects (2B Jorge Seqea and SS Aaron Hill from TO) I dont like the farm team so I am going to rebuild the farm but also maintain competitive. I am seriously thinking of trading Al Leiter and Tom Glavine. I might keep one and try to ge ta young ACE. Someone like Javier Vasquez or Carlos Zambrano. I will update later maybe. -viceman-

ROTATION Oliver Perez - 3-0 1.78 ERA 29 K's in 28 innings Mark Redman - 3-0 1.11 ERA Jason Burnett - 2-0 3.14 ERA Kip Wells - 2-1 4.22 ERA Josh Fogg - 1-2 3.88 ERA BULLPEN Main guys I use: Soloman Torres Jose Mesa - 9 SV's Grabow and Johnston (two lefties) I am 14-5 right now. I just absolutely suck at hitting, especially with Bay and Wilson. Any tips on hitting that I could be willing to try out? The only thing I have tried so far is taking one strike for sure, unless it's a red zone ball, that way I swing at less balls and the pitcher tires out quicker. I've improved, but I am still bad. And the Cubs kick my *** everytime.
kaplerisking
I often have the same problem with hitting that you do, though I've improved a great deal, I'm still not great. Anyway, one thing you could try aside from taking one sure strike is to pay attention to what the pitcher is throwing to one guy and take that into account on the next guy. For example, say you have an awful at bat (strike out swinging on 3 straight balls, for example), then be more patient with the next guy, maybe take 2 strikes instead of one.

Disastros
I have since changed my Astro and Baltimore one, I am just doing sims now, playing a game every now and then. I replaced Spahn with Rj on my Astros one, and on my Baltimore one, Valentin + minor leaguers for Furcal, Abreu for Magglio. My Baltimore team is incredibly fast, I have about 7 players over 85 speed and about 5 more over 70.
squeegeedeadly
Started my dynasty about a week ago and i just won my first game. After losing my first 14 games of the season i finaly beat the Mets 2-1. Brad Wilkerson hit the winning homer in top of the 9th. I play every games on all-star with kam's mod level 3 tweaks and all-star sliders. I use the Expos on Kerm's ODR MVP 2004 Default Roster and did not trade or signed anyone. I hope i can win another one before All-Star break :)
