louie31313
wow just tried pitching w/o strikezone in practice mode ..and i had mixed results.. 1st i use halladay against burrell. it was 26hits 50strikes in 100 pitches 2nd i was sabathia against ortiz it was 48hits 44strikes in 100 pitches again.. looks like i struggle with left handed pitchers.. it's really hard but i still managed to paint the edges..need more practice though. just wanna ask how many here pitches with strike zone off?? Wicked420
I have it turned off too. There is a mod to make the pitching cursor go away too if you want even more of a challenge.

electro_cute
WOW you're good..for me if i turn of the strike zone i swing on bad pitches that's the whole point, to swing on bad pitches. i had it on for a couple of games to learn the size of the strike zone (in this game it's really huuuuge), and then turned it off for both. louie31313
i tried off both strike zones and almost got shouted out by verlander luckily they bring in zumaya and hit back2back homers in the 8th and my pitching was strong i used wang he did a great job 1 run in7.2/3 innings..rivera closed it down for the win.. i have difficulty in determining breaking pitches if it's a strike or not..but i hope a few more games practice i'll get it..
