Syrinx
I'm currently in the process of looking around for a laptop to play MVP 05 on. I really like some of the HP laptops. I've been looking at the HP Pavilion dv6z. The graphics cards offered confuse me. I understand that MVP requires ATI Radeon 7000(something) or greater. The graphics cards offered are ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics, 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530, and 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650. Why are these numbers so low? I usually see Grapics cards with numbers like 7000, 8000, and 9000. (Sorry not that smart with computers.) Does anybody have these graphics cards and do they work well with the game? If anybody can help me with choosing the right specs for my laptop I'd appreciate it. I usually use my computer for just internet, music, MVP 05, World of Warcraft, and school work. These are the laptops I'm interested in. I really don't want to spend more than $800. I can also get a discount on HP laptops because my mom is in an Employee Purchase Program so keep that in mind. MLB2K9
Go with Alien Ware, get an older model, they are often a little cheaper.
Yankee4Life
Syrinx, you should have no problem getting a computer to play Mvp 05 on within your price range. Remember, this is a game that was released in 2005 so the system requirements for this game are exceeded in all new computers being sold now. MarkB
Go with Alien Ware, get an older model, they are often a little cheaper. I'd cut my face off rather than buy an Alienware system. Maybe 5 years ago, if I could afford it, yes. Now? Not a chance in hell.
