rolie
You can just rename the stadium to whatever slot you want it in. Also you need to swap the datafile.txt. The datafile is a lil bit of pain to get to. I think somebody made a tool to easily swap stadiums. I forgot who, maybe kraw. And you can change the stadium name ingame with locedit. I think that tool might be hosted here somewhere.
Jim825
It's very easy to switch stadiums. There are two steps involved. First, take the stadium you want to use and rename it to the stadium(s) you want to overwrite. For example, to replace RFK Stadium with the Olympic Dome, take the Olympic Dome file (olydome.big) and copy it to both rfksday.big and rfksnite.big. You need to do this twice because there is only one Olympic Dome, and there are two versions of RFK Stadium (a day version and a night version). Next, you need to modify the .txt file associated with the stadium. The .txt file contains the camera information that applies to the stadium. You don't necessarily have to do this, but if you do not, the camera views in the game might not work properly. To get the .txt files, go to the data \ datafile folder, and extract the appropriate .txt files from the datafile.big file. In this example, extract the olydome.txt, rfksday.txt and rfksnite.txt files. Copy olydome.txt to both rfksday.txt and rfksnite.txt. Copy the rfksday.txt and rfksnite.txt files to your data folder. Now when you play the game, the Olympic Dome will be the default stadium for the Washington Nationals. To change the stadium name on the stadium select screen, open the IGENG.LOC and FEENG.LOC files with LOCLook and replace "RFK Stadium" with "Olympic Dome". If you want to get really fancy, you can also edit the stadium audio files so that when the game starts in the Olympic Dome, the announcer will say, "We're here today at the Olympic Dome." Editing the stadium audio files is a bit more work and will take longer to explain.
