Loading Franchises

Hey,

Like many, I'm hoping there's a way to make 2k9 approach MVP's quality. The problem I'm having, which I can't seem to find anywhere, is that I can't save and load a franchise. Here are the steps:

1. Open game

2. Press esc (for some reason this starts the Rays v. Phillies game)

3. Press esc in game to bring up menus.

4. Load freshly created franchise (I did the Angels with no settings changes and simply saved and exited to create the save file)

At this point, esc becomes non responsive and all I can do is poke around the mlb.com announcements.

When I create the franchise, everything works fine and I can make trades, change lineups, and everything else. The problem doesn't happen until I've saved, quit, and reloaded a franchise.

I right click my mouse to get the menu screen up, and then you can load/save/etc.

I don;t know what others are using, but right-click on the mouse is what I use to get the menus to appear. Left click the mouse to select what feature you want to use.

Odd. That does work (even though esc usually works). The mouse mapping isn't great, but this solves my problem.
