mjeff35
Hello, Haven't been on the site for a while and I'm back to playing MVP on the PC now, getting frustrated with MLB 09 The show on PS3. Anyway I hoping someone can give me instructions on how to edit the datafile to make changes to the pitching meter, hitting, etc. I thought I can open it with notepad but it didn't work. If anyone can give me directions I really appreciate it. Thanks for your support.
Maestro23
You need the DF Compression Utility: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?autocom=d...p;showfile=1310
arod914
got a quesiton pertaining to a datafile and thought I'd ask here instead of creating a new thread. Well long story short, I had to re-install MVP 08. The thing is I was using MD's datafile and the pitching meter was right above the catcher previously. Now I have the pitching meter toward the top left. How exactly can I change the location of the pitching meter?

mjeff35
Forgot to ask, does anyone know which attributes I need to change in the datafile to get the sweet spot in the pitching meter back to it's original form. The one that's in Mvp08 is a little too small for me right now.

Camera Adjustment Tutorial: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=5690 Pitching meter: You can copy the default datafile.big file from your MVP2005 CDs and you'll have the default pitching meter back. *Note: There is a datafile.txt inside the datafile.big, if you should ever want to edit. Is there anyway I can go in the datafile and make the pitching meter sweet spot change back to default without putting in the original Mvp05 datafile? Reason being is I like to keep the camera angles that came with Kumala's datafile. I know it's some numbers that need to be changed but I can't remember. Anyway appreciate any help on this. herky
Dumb question here but where do I put the downloaded datafile? It's been years since I've done this and I forgot.
Trues
Dumb question here but where do I put the downloaded datafile? It's been years since I've done this and I forgot. Place it in your MVP Baseball 2005\data directory.
