eddieel7
Ive been wanting to play Tony La Russa 96 and Oldtime Baseball on my system with Windows XP. I tried making it work with DOSBox, but to no avail. I tried the many tutorials given to me to make it work but I dont know if theyre for downloaded games or not because I own the original copy of the game. No matter what i do or where I try to play the game it wont work. It installs and runs the menus fine but as soon as I begin a game I see the park and it crashes soon after. The most ive gotten is actually seeing the players on the field aswell before crashing. I know many of you have made it work and I HAVE tried running it on compability modes but nothing works. I would appreaciate it if someone could atleast help me or let me know what they have done to make this great game work. It brings me alot of memories just seeing the case and would love to play it again.
Yankee4Life
I have had the exact same problem! Other people here use DOSBOX and they can get this stuff to work but every time I tried it never worked. Let me know if you ever get this to work, and good luck to you.
emath2432
I got old time baseball to work on DOSBox, but it was so slow I couldn't really play... So it sits on a shelf. Don't really remember what i did to get it to work at all. I remember having a lot of trouble getting it to work. I thought I was doing it right, but turns out I was doing something wrong, so it wouldn't work... I don't know, it's been 3 or 4 years, so i can't remember. But like I said, even after I figured it out, it didn't play right.

emath2432
Tony 3 '96 edition was my game of games.... Not even sure what I ever did with it. It's amazing what they did with games back then, and these big companies can't seem to get it right 12-15 years later. Too bad we couldn't go back to about 2001, and start mixing High Heat, with MVP. That coulda been the ultimate game.
