PNC Park for MLB 2K9 by thecurseofMAPCO.

To install:

1.) Back up the original file.

2.) Extract stadium_pip.iff 2K Sports/MLB 2k9 directory.

I created all of these updates myself, but a big thanks goes to DonSpa because I got a lot of references from his update to find ad locations and to get a few ad ideas.

Version 1 updates:

OF wall ads (LF to RF) - State Farm, Verizon, Bud Light, Southwest.com, Comcast Triple Play, and Trib Total Media. There should be an ad between State Farm and Verizon for Inside Pirates Baseball and a Heinze ad in RCF, but 2kSports did not place enough ads along the walls. The Inside Pirates Baseball is in my update however, and repeats throughout the stadium.

LF Scoreboard - Added the four big ads for Trib Total Media, Allegheny General Hospital, PNC Bank, and Highmark (which unfortunately must share its space with another ad). Replaced the out-of-town scoreboard part with a Consol Energy ad. Replaced the Duty Gasoline ad with a large Pirates logo graphic. I used a texture effect on that to try to make it look like a scoreboard graphic, but it doesn't seem to show up very well in the game.

Clemente Wall Ads - Since 2kSports made the three Clemente Wall ads share space with three of the OF wall ads, and since I hate the split ads, I created larger ads for the same companies to create consistent ads. They are Bud Light Drinkability, Southwest.com $49 Fares, and Verizon It's the Network, but unless I'm psychic, these three ads aren't there in real life. All three companies probably have ads on the Clemente wall though, so if I see the real ads, I'll try to update them.

Clemente Wall Scoreboard - Added the "21" graphic and team names to the scoreboard, but I'm still working on updating the actual scoring info.

Dugouts - Added the trim to the dugout roofs (neweracap.com, New Era logo, PIRATES.com). Added New Era logo, "New Era Fits" text, and "PIRATES.com" text to the back wall, and the New Era logo trim above the bench.

Backstop ads - Geico, Budweiser, Giant Eagle, NewsTalk 104.7, Sugardale, LaRoche College, FSNinsider.com, and Wheeling Casino.

Missing building names in the skyline

The Bud Light, Southwest.com, and Verizon ads in RF if they have real-life counterparts

Get rid of the green concrete in the seating areas

hey i just checked out ur version ,looks good.I noticed u had the same idea as i did about the neweracap and the team names in progress.Un fortunatly as far as i know we cant have them update on thier own which would have been cool to do.I see u have a good version of inside pirates baseball,did u make that urself or find it on the net?thats one of the ads ive been wanting to fix on mine but have been unsuccessful finding it other than on game highlights but i cant get a good view.Also i see u have the consol energy ad and i have that but i want to put it over clemente wall where it goes but cant figure in iff editor on which frame that it would go on.I thought it would have been on the upper part of frame 09 56 but it dont seem to be the right frame

For the Inside Pirates Baseball ad I found two really good game photos that got me an outline of that PIRATES script, then I filled it in from there. It was tedious to say the least.

For 09 56, I have no idea where the top part of the frame (above the out-of-town scoreboard with the Pirates.com) maps to, I just know it's not anywhere on the Clemente Wall. The section below the scoreboard all maps to the backstop ads as far as I can tell. I would assume 09_80 maps to that section of the wall and just repeats. If so, it's not possible right now to put that Consol ad in the correct place. I thought about using the Consol Energy Ads at 09 61-62-63 because I cannot get that handicapped section to look anywhere decent, but it just didn't look right. What I just released was finished about two weeks ago and I had been working ever since on that section.

And 09 54 maps over the entire railing system, so getting the Pirates.com on the vertical sections on the railing isn't possible.

yeah i know i tried getting the pirates.com on the railing as well and couldnt get it the way i liked,the new eracaps i finally figured it out a couple nights ago where to place it.But the consol energy has me real stumped.I tried the top of 09 61 for it but it didnt show at all.

i also noticed on the 09 56 the 2 pirates.com logos but dont see it in game at all
