marcosjarizmend
Hello, I just dicovered this page and it is great. I can finally play MVP again. I tried using kgbaseball's 2009 Roster 7.1 Plus by kgbaseball but it crashes just when the game is about to begin. I don''t know what it means to have the '08 version, which it stipulates. I'm new at this changing game configuration stuff so if anyone could help please use simple directions.
Jim825
The '08 version refers to the MVP 2008 mod that was released last year. This mod brings everything (rosters, stadiums, uniforms, etc.) up-to-date for 2008. You need to install this mod first before you install KG's rosters. You can get the MVP 2008 mod over at http://www.eamods.com

Jim825
When you install the MVP 2008 mod, it will ask you to insert your discs and install the appropriate game files as it installs the mod. The easiest thing to do would be to completely uninstall the game and then follow the instructions that come with the mod to install it. You will need the Total Installer Thingy (also available at EAMods.com) to install the MVP 2008 mod.

Jim825
That's the big difference between the MVP 2008 installer and the Total Classics installers. The Total Classics installers expect the game to already be installed and they just copy over the files that make up the mod, while the MVP 2008 installer installs the the entire game and the '08 mod files. Jim825
There should be a ReadMe file that comes with the rosters explaining how to install them.
