Jayr2112
I am trying to use MVPedit to tinker with some ratings on the TC Phase 9 roster, but when I import the roster it changes many player appearances. Ex. 65 Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax now has a black player face. I am importing the DAT file that's in the database folder to edit the roster. Is that wrong? Any suggestions? Only for the original X-Box, and there are a lot of mods for that.

If you are importing the TC phase 9 file to MVP edit, changing things, and then exporting it back, you should be good to go. The only way a players face changes is if you change the cyber face number in MVP edit, or if your models.big is not the one that was meant for TC phase 9. Jayr2112
Okay cool. It seems to work fine although MVPedit shows a different player appearance than the one that's actually in the game. Weird though.
Jim825
Your problem is probably because you have MVPEdit pointing to the wrong data folder. This will cause it to point to the wrong models.big file, which contains the faces. From the MVPEdit menu, click Tool->Options and then check to see what is selected in the MVP Baseball Data Directory window. It should be pointing to the directory that contains the TC9 models.big file. As soon as you change it, I'll bet that Sandy Koufax's face will look fine.
