Bsx3400
So far in the offseason.... Who do you think has made the best moves? and Who do you think is now the best team in the MLB?
Snash13
The M's have made the best moves but its still a toss-up for who the best team. either boston or new york (yankees not mets)
NYM
METS ALL THE WAY!
mooseknucks
either the M's or the Yanks have made the best moves, M's more offensive, Yanks more pitching. the best team is of course NYY or BOS, but if the M's make a couple more moves, like pitchers and a little more offense, they'll be up there. sjbushido
i would have to say the SF Giants... they finally got a REAL closer (benitez) , a new shortstop (visquel), and now possible another power hitter (Moises Alou).
Viceman2004
Boston and San Fran..wow... Renteria, Wells, Clement, Miller for BOS Visquel, Benitez, Alou, Matheny, for SF i predict that both teams will be very competitive next year. :D
Kccitystar
I'd say the Ms and the DBacks..especially the D'Backs for bolstering their team with more talent considering the fact that they had their worst season ever last season.
Big_Papi
World Champ Boston is cheaper and has more depth than last year. They are the force to be reckoned with.

They are the force to be reckoned with. i'm a sox fan and that's pretty much what everyone was saying about the sox last year and, fortunately enough for us, that depth discrepancy wasn't actualized until game 4 of the ALCS. sure, the AL East tightened up at the end of August and thru Sept. but the Yankee bullpen didn't actually self distruct until it was almost too late. WindyCHC165
I know that Cubs GM Jim hendry is a guy that makes last minute moves and does incredible things. 03= A.Ramirez, K.Loften took them to postseason 04= Nomar Garciaparra with only the loss of Alex Gonzalez. But im starting to feel a little worried where he's going. He hasnt made a move since december 7 and is he going to trade sosa for beltran???? I WANA KNOW!!! AARRRGGGGHHH!!!!

I totally agree! There's no DOUBT that the Giants have been most improved and made the best moves over the off-season so far...

AARRRGGGGHHH!!!! Trade Sosa for Beltran? to whom exactly? Beltran isn't ON a team... As I've been saying, the last hope for the Cubs enlies in the unpredictable Magglio Ordonez. Beltran will obviously sign with the Yankees since those bastards are capable of spending every single penny possible, and more, on new players every year (yet still manage to consistently emberass themselves in the postseason)...so forget about him in Cubbie-blue. Drew has signed with the Dodgers, thus leaving Magglio as the sole FA outfielder, who's recent injuries definately won't aid in improving his numbers next season . Plus, no one seems to want Sammy, so our outfield for 2005 will probably consist of Hollandsworth, Patterson, and Sosa- the unproven Dubois to fill in when needed. not much of an improvement from last season....plus, there are still huge holes in the bullpen with Mercker being gone and Farnsworth showing us what he is all about......but who knows, maybe a great trade or signing is in the making as we speak
