kira_2k9
I have been trying to bean any hitter with my 97kmph fastball, but the ball never reaches the hitter for some reason. I am able to automatically hit a batter by pressing button five and right d-pad, but I can not aim or use any of my pitches to bean the batter. Intentional beanball is always in the same place with the same pitch, and I would like to know how I can use my own pitch and aim for specific area to bean the batter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
tigersfan1792
well i think it isn't possible to throw intentionally at his head, but i did hit a batter in the face with a 2-seamer which i missed location on apparently that batter had a steel nose, because he wasn't injured at all
Homer
it's not that easy. one realistic part that's missing from this game. if you've got a batter who rides the plate, such as reggie jackson's batting stance, you can brush them off pretty easily with the fastball. you can hit them too, but you have to use a breaking pitch and make it break too much. i've found that pitchers with sliders that move horizontally can bean them with that pitch pretty easily. pretty much any pitch that breaks sideways towards the batter. play around with it. just wind up all the way, but don't hit the button the second time and let the meter to to its max. you typically throw wild pitches that way.
