I was just wondering about my setup. Im running mlb and nba 2k9 on PC. The system is only a month old. Brought it brand new. While running NBA 2k9 there is a little lag in it. Im running a AMD Phenom Quad core processor 1.80 ghz.

An ATI radeon HD 4350 with 1GB. The cpu RAM is 4GB on windows vista 64 Bit.

Was wondering if its in my graphics card or processor.

Well its a quad 1.8 0 ghz, which is fine (I think).

The Radeon HD 4350 isnt a good graphics card... That might be the reason.

Do you lag while playing MVP though?

Oh, your talking about 2K (not mvp)...

Uhmm, 2K has a lot of graphics requirements, unlike mvp.

Maybe 8800GT would be good? I have the 8800GTX (which is better, but it costs a lot of $$$), and the demo of mlb 2k9 worked great.

Yeah than I run into power supply issues. My power supply is only 300 W. The only ones I found that would work are the NIVIDIA 8500 GT and the 9400 GT. The match my power supply. Which one do u think would be better than what I have to get rid of the slight lag?

Seems to me you need to upgrade that PSU to something more powerful if going to a high-end video card. I prefer NVIDIA over ATI, just a personal preference. According to NVIDIA's Web site, you are limited to the 8400 GS, 8500 GT, 8600 GT, or 9400 GT with only a 300 watt PSU. If I were you, I would upgrade that PSU to something with at least 500 watts. I could make some recommendations if you are interested.

kc i updated the drivers for the Radeon HD 4350. I also downloaded the new catalyst menu. There where some more options in them. I was able to enhance some things through there and get the anastropiuc filtering up to 16X and some other values. But all said and done MLB 2k9 is running perfectly now. No lagging and the gameplay is improved 100%.

Thanks Alot.
