Mvp Baseball 2005 Graphics Problem....

So as some of you know i've been around here for long enough but as of late I've aquired a old desktop PC from about 2004 its a Dell. The ATI that was in it has blown but I recently found a Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 420 and installed it yet when I play MVP baseball unmodded just to test out the graphics card I get the worst looking player models even though acording to this source I have well over enough to power the game. When I go into video options I can alter everything but player models and its greyed out to where one cannot change it. Does anyone know of a way around this or a mod one can instal to force it to have the best when it comes to player models? Thanks for you help mucho

Are you sure that card is supported by the game? I'm not sure where you would find a list of those cards at this point. What about applying at least official patch #3.

I know that on my older ATI card (256mb) older drivers work better for this game than newer ones. ATI driver updates don't necessarily have the best reputation from what I've read as well.

it requires a GeForce 2 and I have a Geforce 4 so yeah I would like to think so.

Seems that card is not up to par to run MVP 2005 with everything turned up to HIGH or ON, etc...

Jayr2112 had the same card as you, and ran into the same thing. Might want to send him a PM.

I also seem to have a problem with my graphics card.

I just installed my video drivers which is a ATI Radeon 9250 series and ever since then when i try to play mvp 2005,

it freezes when I am in the middle of a game. Before I installed the the drivers, the game wasn't freezing.

Does anyone know the problem
